JAMES RICARDO MORGAN

James Ricardo Morgan was born on July 5, 1963, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The youngest of six siblings, James grew up surrounded by the love and energy of his family: brothers Dwight Grant, Alphonso Morgan, and Richard Morgan, and sisters Juanita and Sheila Morgan.

Known for his sharp sense of style, brilliant mind, and exceptional cooking, James brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. He was a man who valued family above all and made lasting impressions with his generosity and wisdom.

James passed away on April 16, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love and is deeply missed by his beloved daughter, Ashley “NuNu” Morgan; his surviving siblings, nine nephews, seven nieces.

Though we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life he lived. James is now reunited in peace with his parents, Alfonso Butler and Mamie Morgan, and his siblings Alphonso and Sheila Morgan. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
