GARY WILSON

Gary Wilson was born on April 6, 1963, to Sylvester Willett and Betty Wilson in Morganfield, Kentucky. In 1964, he moved with his family to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he resided and made his life-long home.

Gary received his primary and secondary education through the Indianapolis Public School System. A dedicated public servant, Gary was employed by the City of Indianapolis for over 10 years. 

Gary departed this life on Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Willett; his mother, Betty Wilson; his brother, Ben Willett; his sister, Sylvia Moore; and his nephews, Jadon Goodall, Christopher Wilson Jr., and Elgin Wilson. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, DuJuan Booker; his two daughters, Shree Wilson and Siera Wilson; his brothers, Robert Wilson and Greg Wilson; and his sisters, Valores Wilson, Martha Wilson, Gloria Wilson, and Gwendolyn Rose. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
