FRANCIS "FRANKIE" EUGENE ELLIOTT, JR.

Mr. Francis Eugene Elliott, Jr., known as “Frankie,” to his family and friends, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 2, 1988, to Desiree Eubank Elliott and Frank Elliott, Sr. Though he was a native of Indianapolis and lived there during childhood, his many travels would lead him to new areas of living and exploration that allowed him to see the world and bless so many others with his wit, calming presence and his beautiful, infectious smile. 

Frankie attended both the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township and Indianapolis Public Schools, graduating from Arsenal Technical High School in 2007. While in school, he  was well-known and loved by both his classmates as well the faculty. One of his English teachers at Arsenal Tech was, in fact, his loving mother, Desiree.

Following graduation from high school, Frankie began traveling and lived in Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved to Hawaii and continued his education at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. There, he pursued his Associate Degree in Hydroponics.  Frankie also lived in Los Angeles, California, before returning home to Indianapolis, where he spent the latter part of his life. He enjoyed putting his talents into music and spending time with family and friends.  Whether they were near or far, he had no issues with traveling across the country or even around the world to spend time with them.  

His beautiful smile could simultaneously get you into trouble, while getting him out of it. That raised eyebrow of his would let you know that he heard what you said, but definitely had an opinion, and he had absolutely no problem letting you know exactly what that opinion was. Though a bit smaller in size, Frankie was full of fire and had a huge heart full of love.  He was an incomparable fighter from the time he was a toddler until his moment of transition.  The strength and fight that Frankie displayed throughout his life will forever be a legacy for all who were blessed to know him and love him. 

Frankie was a loving son, protective little brother, doting “ Uncle Pankie”, loyal friend and a true blessing to everyone who knew him.  He was caring to so many people and brought joy to others by simply being present.  He will forever be remembered, missed and loved.

Surrounded by family, Mr. Francis Eugene Elliott, Jr., departed this life and transitioned to be with our Savior on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the age of 36 years, 11 months and 6 days.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted mother, Desiree Marie Burdette (Herman), and father, Francis Eugene Elliott, Sr. (Sheila); his ever supportive sister, Nicole Danielle Allensworth House (Jason); niece, Jasmine   Desiree; nephew, Jordan Kent; his grandfather, Harvey Elliott, Sr; his grand-uncle, Dallas Daniels, Jr; great-aunt, Patricia Henderson; ten aunts and uncles, a host of many loving cousins as well as special lifetime friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Phyllis “Penny” Elliott and Sandra K. Eubank, and grandfather, David F. Eubank, Sr.
