ELDER LARRY BEASLEY Obituary

Larry Edwin Beasley was born March 4, 1950 to Charles Ermus and Louise Beasley in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the third oldest of seven children. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools.

Some of Larry's favorite hobbies included reading, watching old western movies, barbecuing and spending time with his daughter, granddaughters and siblings but his most favorite of all was spending time with the love of his life Bridget. He always said she was the cheese in his macaroni, the butter on his bread and the hot sauce on EVERYTHING!!!

Larry and Bridget began their courtship in 1984 and was later joined in Holy Matrimony. From this union was born one daughter Brittney whom he loved more than life.

During this time Larry began working for Salvation Army Harbor Light where his ministry began. Later he was licensed to preach at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Arthur L. Sample and later ordained as an Elder at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Charles H. McClain Jr.

Among many things that Larry loved to do, he had a great love for his community. He enjoyed counseling at Salvation Army ARC and ministered throughout the city to many people. Larry was known for being a sharp dresser and driving his Cadillacs.

As Larry grew in ministry, he later joined New Unity Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Victor T. Woods where he remained until he transitioned to be with the Lord on March 9, 2026. Elder Beasley was preceded in death by his parents, his oldest sister Sharon Johnson, nephew Damon Beasley, and one grandson, DaVonta White.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife the love of is life for 42 years Bridget; one daughter; Brittney Beasley; two stepsons, Demetrius White and DeAndre Goodlow, three sisters Yolanda Dulin, Roxanne Johnson (Victor), Kimberly Gray (Carl), two brothers Bruce Beasley Sr. (Armenta), Juan Beasley, twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
