Brother Duane Clark Jackson, Jr. was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 20, 1952, the son of Mr. Duane A. Jackson and Mrs. Gladys A. (Davis) Jackson. He attended Crispus Attucks High School and earned diplomas from Stratford Career Institute in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Duane had a passion for music, cooking, and the latter skills he applied to use at the Indianapolis International Airport and the Indianapolis, Zoo. He also enjoyed growing vegetables and sharing them with his neighbors and friends.
On June 15, 1996, Duane married Regena Cureton, and together they obeyed the Gospel and became members of Harding Street Church of Christ. Duane was a devoted husband and father, known for his faithfulness and love of studying scripture, as well as sharing conversations about Christ. He cherished his church community and sincerely prayed for others. Every night, Duane found joy in praying and holding devotions with his wife. He placed His trust in God, following the guidance throughout his life.
Duane departed this life on April 26, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys A. Davis Jackson; father, Duane A. Jackson, and his son, James J. Jackson.
He leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife, Regena (Cureton) Jackson; his son, Duane A. Jackson; his sister, Michelle R. Jackson, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his brothers and sisters in Christ.
