Dewayne Anthony Thomas Jr., (Man Man) was born on December 30, 1989, to Edna Carter and Dewayne A. Thomas Sr., (Squeaky).
Man Man attended Indianapolis Public School 108. He was so proud when he received his Diploma through the Fathers & Family Program and continued his education attending Lincoln Tech College of Technology for Electronics.
Man Man has always been an excellent Father to Destiny and December Williams, he always provided for them, and showed them unconditional love, wisdom and the truth. He was a spiritual young man, and at an early age he attended Sunday School at Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church under the guidance and teachings of Mary Fuqua, whom he loved very dearly.
Man Man was very gifted and talented. He would express himself by rapping and wrote many songs. He was a motivational speaker. He would love to discuss any topic with you. He was a protector to many, a beautiful soul and a heart that was pure and truthful. He loved to joke around, go swimming, play basketball, card games and indulging in Orange Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and Sea Food Boils. His main quote was “Just Think About It!”
Man Man departed this life on Sunday July 6, 2025, at the age of thirty –five years. He was preceded in death by his father; Dewayne A. Thomas Sr., Grandmother; Betty Hamilton Thomas Cox, Aunt; Shelia Springer; Uncle; Edward L Thomas, Eddie Carter Jr., and Niece Takara Coleman, whom he loved all dearly and missed.
Man Man leaves behind to cherish his memory; his mother Edna Carter, Children; Destiny, December and Da’Syni Williams, Sisters; Saretha Sherri Ridley, Tawanna Cater Thomas, and Ciara Thomas, Brother; Dion Thomas, Aunts; Barbara Thomas, Donna Willis and Gloria Pratt, Uncles; Richard Thomas, Jerry Thomas and Antonio Artison, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
