DENISE FORD

Denise Ford of Indianapolis, Indiana, was born on July 12, 1960, to Carlton Ford Sr. and Martha Ford. Denise was a graduate of School #37 grade school and Broad Ripple High School, where she laid the foundation for a life of dedication and purpose.

Denise devoted over two decades of her professional life to American States Insurance, later continuing her career with One America Insurance — a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment to those she served.

A woman of faith, Denise was a proud member of First Baptist Church. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — curling up with a good book, taking long walks, caring for her beloved pets, and sharing meals with those she loved at her favorite restaurant, Mississippi Belle.

She passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Ford; her father, Carlton Ford Sr.; and her beloved brothers Carlton Ford Jr., James Ford, and William Ford.

Denise is survived by her son, Devon Owens; and dear friends Pamela London and Katie Downs.
