Debra Ann Enoch, the eldest daughter born to the union of George Harold Jones, Sr. and Betty Lou Anderson Jones Colbert, was born December 15, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was an integral member of a large, loving family. Later in her life, she cared for her father as his health failed, which led to her lifelong career in healthcare and nursing.
She accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized at Believers in Christ Apostolic Church under the pastorate of Momma Jenny. Debra Ann continued her journey and service to the Lord at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly under the Christian leadership of Bishop Benjamin T. Moore, Sr. In later years, Agape Apostolic Faith Assembly was her church home. Throughout the years, she served dutifully and faithfully as an usher and as a Sunday School teacher.
Debra Ann received her primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System. She attended Shortridge and Harry E. Wood high schools. She embarked upon her studies to become a nurse and completed the prescribed course of study to become certified as a Medical Assistant. She lovingly cared for and nurtured those to whom her care was entrusted for a number of years. Debra Ann received numerous certificates and awards acknowledging her prowess and professionalism and patient care. Her achievements in healthcare were a manifestation of her service to the Lord.
