Crispus F. Roberts, Jr. was born on July 27, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Florence and Crispus Roberts, Sr. He was better known by the people who loved him the most as “Robbie”.
Crispus was born and raised in Indianapolis and graduated from Manual High School. He dedicated over 30 years of service through his employment at Sears, Target, and Kroger. He found great joy in assisting and engaging with customers, leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered. His warm spirit and commitment to service will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
For hobbies, Crispus was an avid bowler who participated in bowling leagues and won several competitions. He also loved to play backgammon, card games, and watch just about any sport that was broadcasted.
He transitioned peacefully, surrounded by family on March 16, 2026. Crispus was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Crispus, Sr., as well as his cousin, that was more like a sister, Tammy Rivers.
He is survived by his children, Crispus III (Sierra) and Rochelle Perkins; grandchildren, Imani, Nia, Amare, Kingston, and Journee; and the love of his life, Marie Hayes; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
