CARVELE L. PAYNE

Carvele Lamore Payne, was born on August 2, 1965 to Anderson Payne and Carolyn Pryor Smith. He completed his primary education in Indianapolis Public School #72 and graduated from Emmrich Manual High School.

Carvele was an experienced in laying foundation for homes. He worked for Precision Foundation LLC and several other companies.

“Putt” as he was affectionately called by his family and friend, loved the outdoors and enjoyed barbequing, watching TV (Western movies and the History channel) and listening to R&B, especially Earth, Wind, and Fire and the Isley Brothers. We must not forget how he loved telling jokes.

He united in Holy Matrimony with Jacqueline Gibson on May 29, 1999, at Northside Wesleyan Church.

Carvele Lamore Payne departed this earthly life on November 30, 2025, at the age of sixty years old. He was preceded in death by his both of his parents, stepfather, James Smith, two uncles, Timothy Pryor and Jeffrey Pryor.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Jacqueline Payne and their daughter, Kayelynn J. Payne; his daughter, India Henderson; his son, Jordan L. Payne; three brothers, Mark A. Roper (Robin), Steven Pryor (Kathy), and Neal Pryor (Jessica); five grandchildren; his aunts and uncles, Norma, Richard, Charles, Roland, James, Linda, Paul, Michael and Sharon; along with a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
