CAROLYN MAYS Obituary
Carolyn Louise Mays was born in Minter, Mississippi to Horace L. Dodd and Easter M. Nance on November 19, 1955.
Carolyn attended IPS #29 #110 and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. She went on to work for Washington Township school system over the years.
Carolyn manifested a belief in Jehovah God and his Kingdom under Christ rule. Taking in the knowledge of him and exercising faith until her death.
Carolyn loved and enjoyed watching game shows, growing beautiful plants, cooking and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids as well as laughing with her family and friends.
Carolyn died on September 17, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded by her parents, Horace L. and Easter M. Dodd and younger brother Ray Dodd.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Richard A. Mays Jr., TaShonna R. Mays and Raymond D. Mays; seven beautiful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Allen Dodd (Nancy); sisters DeLois Yates (Roy), Virgie Hailey (Robert) and Lesia Powe (Timothy); and a host of beautiful nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
