Anna L. Banks was born to Carl L. Jenkins and Geneva Davis on April 8, 1941 in New Madrid Missouri.
She attended Indianapolis Public Schools and was employed in Retail the majority of her working years, having worked at Shoe City on Central Avenue for many years.
Anna was best known for her love of shoes and stylish attire. Sug, as Anna was affectionately known, seldom had a complaint, and had a very cordial, nonchalant attitude towards most things; her favorite saying being “VERY GOOD” regardless of the circumstances. Anna had a humble spirit and joyous demeanor. She had a very generous heart and was always giving. She loved family and will be missed and remembered for humbleness and humor.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her son and her siblings, all besides Ida Mae.
Anna leaves to cherish her memory her granddaughter, Nicole Shore (Robert), and great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
