Alice Ruth Bonnett was born on January 14, 1950, in Ahoskie, NC to the late Clyde Sr. and Ronnell Futrell. She accepted her calling as a Christian woman wholeheartedly and later served faithfully as a Missionary Evangelist, dedicating her life to sharing the Gospel and helping those in need. Her life was a testimony of God’s love in action.
Family was at the heart of everything Alice did. She was a source of wisdom, strength, prayer, and unconditional love. Her home and her heart were always open, and her presence brought comfort. She especially cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and her church family – who she loved dearly.
In addition to her spiritual calling, Alice dedicated 33 years of honorable service to the Defense Finance & Accounting Services, where she was known for her professionalism, diligence, and integrity. Even after retirement, she continued to devote herself fully to ministry, family, and community.
Alice was a woman of deep compassion and quiet strength. She loved serving God, encouraging others, and giving selflessly. Her life was a living testimony of faith in action, and her legacy will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
