Adrian Marquis Caldwell was born on July 29, 1977, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to James Anthony Caldwell, Sr. and Norma Jean Abron. He received his primary and secondary education through the Indianapolis Public School System and was a proud graduate of Broad Ripple High School.
In 2014, Adrian became a devoted member of the Church of Christ, where he found joy in the fellowship and worship. He had a deep love for singing and cooking, often bringing people together through his talents. Adrian also had a special gift for working with children and found great happiness in being around them. His warm personality, kind spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand made him a source of comfort and joy to many. He truly loved his family and took pride in making others smile.
Adrian Marquis Caldwell, 48, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 48 years 8 months and 18 days. Adrian was preceded in death by his father, James A. Caldwell, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his son, Adrian Caldwell; daughter, Dionna “Dion” C. Caldwell; grandchildren, Carter Ward, Carlani Ward, Carlee Caldwell, and Jai’er Caldwell; his mother, Norma J. Abron; brothers, James A. Caldwell, Jr., Michael D. Abron, Jeffrey Caldwell, and Quinton A. Caldwell; er, Tiffany Caldwell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
