AARON SMITH Obituary

Aaron I. Smith, Sr. was born on December 5, 1986, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He received his primary and secondary education through the Indianapolis Public School System and attended Arlington High School. He later went on to obtain his G.E.D., demonstrating his determination and commitment to his education.

Aaron was a man who truly valued the time he spent with his family and friends. He had a love for simple joys in life, especially playing chess, a game he enjoyed both for its challenge and the time it allowed him to connect with others. He also loved watching movies, with Friday being one of his all-time favorites.

Above all, Aaron cherished being a father. Spending time with his two sons brought him his greatest happiness, and they were the center of his world.

Aaron departed this earthly life on April 26, 2026, at the age of 39. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlene Smith, and his aunt, Brenda Smith.

Aaron leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Charletta Smith; his two sons, Aaron Smith Jr. and Maurice Taylor; the mother of his children and longtime friend, Lakisha Taylor; his brother, Cyreuss Davis; his sister, Ditra Davis; his aunts, Sylvia Smith and Scharise Smith; and his uncle, Darren Smith, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
