I knew Janis at North Central High School. I was one year older than her. We were in band together, and we had a great time together laughing at our mistakes, rolling our eyes when we had to keep repeating a part over and over again, and just enjoying being friends. She was such a lady even in high school, and I greatly admired her. May God bless the memories of all who loved and cherished this wonderful woman of God! May His peace surround her family and friends.
