To the family of Brother Sanford Lane Smith, we the men of First Church of Christ Holiness USA, Inc extend condolences on the passing of Sanford.

A life-long member of First Church, Sandford was a faithful member of the Brotherhood Ministry and contributed in numerous ways to the ministry and First Church.

Not know as a renowned singer, one song “Death Has No Terror,” was a favorite Sanford enjoyed signing during services.

Death hath no terrors for the blood bought one, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb! The boasted vict’ry of the grave is gone,
O glory hallelujah to the Lamb!

Our souls die daily to the world and sin, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb! By the Spirit’s power as He dwells within, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb

We seek a city far beyond this vale, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb! Where joys celestial never, never fail, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb!
We’ll then press forward to the heav’nly land, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb! Nor mind the troubles met on ev’ry hand,
O glory hallelujah to the Lamb!
We’ll rise someday just as our Savior rose, O glory hallelujah to the Lamb! Till then shall death be but a calm repose,
O glory hallelujah to the Lamb!
Jesus rose from the dead, Rose triumphant as He said,
Snatched the vict’ry from the grave, Rose again our souls to save—O glory hallelujah to the Lamb!

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."-Psalm 30:5 As Jesus rose from the dead, one day Sanford too will rise. Weep now, but look unto the hills, from whence cometh your help.

Humbly submitted
