|Dear Dr. Stokes and Family,
We were sadden to hear about the loss of Lillian (sorority sister & NCCU Alumna) and wanted to share our condolences! We were not able to get the information regarding burial in Greenville, NC as we would have attended (may have been private). We have fonds memories and will cherish our encounters during time living in Indianapolis. Please give our regards to Robin, Scott & family.
GOD has her in his loving arms!

|I was truly saddened to hear of Lillian's passing. Even sadder that I am just now receiving information about her passing.
I have very fond memories of Lillian (Skeeter) as called by some of her cousins and of Robert, a former student at Whitfield (Formerly PCTS). Her accomplishments give me great satisfaction of having played a small part in her life.
May the peace of God rest with us all.

|In my journey to invite a young nurse to Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. I learned of this.... A beautiful Sorority member that I admired deeply … remembering her at the last gathering that I was able to attend, she was and still is dancing the night away.... Love YOU to the end and some more.
