To my dear childhood friend, Phyllis Weeden, I extend condolences in the passing of your brother, Paul. He had a joyful life, which, I am sure, will continue on in Glory. It takes Paul's passing to activate fond memories of the Weeden family which nurtured Paul. The Eastern Star church at 22nd and Columbia, of which my grandmother, Eula Cross, was a loyal member. Living with my other grandmother, Sue Debow, at 28th and Boulevard, I was down the block from the Weedens and my childhood companion at school #87, Phyllis. I remember the Weeden family with love. May you find peace in loving memories of Paul.
