Stephanie Renee Johnson, the first daughter to Harold E. Johnson Sr. and L. Lois Johnson, was born July 21, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the oldest of 4 children to her loving parents.

Stephanie was baptized at an early age and accepted Jesus as the head of her life. She attended IPS Elementary School 69 and 11. She was an excellent student and enjoyed learning. In grade school, Stephanie played volleyball. She was gifted in music and started playing the violin in third grade and continued for a few years. She also learned how to play the flute. Soon after that she joined the marching band in high school. Stephanie graduated from IPS Broad Ripple High School in 1979. After high school, she went on to study accounting at    Lockyear College and IUPUI.

Stephanie married Ricky D. Johnson in 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Two children came from the union, their daughters, Jessica A. Johnson and Gabrielle S. Johnson. Everything in her life centered around her girls, including her career and job choices. After this marriage dissolved, their daughters continued to be the joy of both parents lives.

Stephanie began her corporate career at Indiana National Bank, where she worked in Foreign Currency. She later went on to beauty school and became a cosmetologist. Stephanie’s professionalism and creativity flourished, which led her to become a consultant with Mary Kay for many years, an auditor for the IRS, and most recently a customer service team lead for United Airlines. Her leadership skills helped her to thrive throughout her life. Stephanie enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Stephanie Renee Johnson departed this life on July 17, 2021 in Marietta, Georgia. Stephanie was preceded in death by her father Harold E. Johnson, Sr. and her grandmother Mildred Garner.

She will be remembered and cherished forever by her daughters, Jessica A. Johnson and Gabrielle S. Johnson; mother, L. Lois Johnson; her sisters, Dawn (Netta) Caldwell and Suzanne Coleman; her two brothers, Harold (Butch) E. Johnson, Jr., and Ramon A. Johnson; and niece, Brittani B. Eubank. She will be missed by aunts, uncles, and other nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
