I love Ms. Barbara! She was such a good friend. I will miss her emincly. She was like the big sister that I never had! We confided in each other and we trusted each other. If ever I had a bad day, she would always find a way to make me see the good that out weighed the bad. She would pray with me and her prayers were so powerful and heartfelt! There was nothing fake about her! She would tell it like it was! Even when we would disagree, we could always respect each other's feelings, laugh and keep it moving! She stood up for those that could not stand for themselves! I loved that about her! We had that in common! She was a fighter! Her health situation did not stand in her way! She fought until she was tired! I Love You Ms. Barb! I will miss you so much! You were my running buddy, my sister, my friend! Peace and heartfelt sympathy to the family! Beverly Garrett and Family

I worked with Ms. Barb at Custom and border protection for many years and all those years if you needed the shirt on her back she would give it to you. Although I left CBP we still kept in touch. I will miss her so much if the family need anything that I can do let me know and you have my sincere condolences.

I worked in the same Building as Ms. Barbara and I would see her on the elevator or in the parking lot and we would chat and she was so sweet and so funny. A beautiful person. Prayers and Blessings to her Loved ones. She has left a big impression and she will be missed!

My friend, my friend, my friend....and a true friend she was. She was one of of the sweetest, giving people I know. She never talked negatively about her illness and kept her faith. I will miss her, but will treasure our times together, good and bad. RIP Barbara.

I was so saddened to hear that Barabra had passed. We graduated from high school together in Flint, MI. We use to hang out back in the day. She was a true friend. She always had such a beautiful smile. The last time I saw her was at a class reunion a few years ago. It was so good to see her and she still had that smile. My condolences go out to the family.
