Judilyn White Evans was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Clarence White, Sr. and Shirley Jean White. She was the third born of four children.
Judy professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She was a firm believer that Jesus died for her and that God raised him from the dead. Judy was a faithful member of Eastern Star Church for over 25 years. She later united with Pathway Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful member for 25 years under the leadership of Pastor Angelo White, Sr.
Judy was raised in Indianapolis and graduated from John Marshall High School. She was employed at Indianapolis Public Schools and retired after 26 years of dedicated service. After retiring she was employed by Comfort Keepers Heal at Home until the time of her passing.
Judy was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Tony Evans for 6 years until the union ended in divorce.
Judy was an avid lover of people. She loved spending time with her twin grandsons, and her nieces and nephews. Judy loved to shop and dress. She always wore the latest fashions. She was a huge sports fan. She enjoyed watching NBA basketball, NFL football and boxing. She also loved music particularly R&B and gospel.
Judilyn went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the age of 58 years, 10 months and 23 days. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, LeDarrell Holland; her mother, Shirley Jean White; three brothers, Clarence White, Jr. (Denise), Angelo White, Sr. (Clemeteen), Aaron White (Lisa); twin grandsons, LeDarrell Holland, Jr. and Kyrell Holland; long time friend, Darrell Holland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
