Lorretta Lacy Davidson was the daughter of the late Ella Lacy Taylor and Delman A. Lacy Sr.  Lorretta  was born November 25,1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lorretta attended the Indianapolis Public School System and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School.

Lorretta  accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age at    Purtain Baptist Church under the late Rev. Samual Swancey where she sang in the choir and many other things. 

On May the 26, 1959 Lorretta  was united in marriage to Thomas G. Davidson.  Lorretta  moved her membership to Canaan Baptist Church with Thomas.  In 1963 Lorretta moved her membership to Carter Memorial under the late pastor Rev. Estee Adams, Sr. where she sang in the choir, worked with the Matrons, The Pastors Aid, Missionary and was Church Clerk for 22 years.

Lorretta was the third child of the late Ella Lacy Taylor and Delman Lacy, Sr.  Lorretta was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine; parents; two brothers, Lorenzo and Delman Jr.; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Lorretta  leaves to mourn her loss husband, Thomas; children, Marcia Charles (John) of Indianapolis; Rev. Gregory Davidson (Marsha) of Indianapolis; Jeffrey Davidson of Los Angeles, CA; Jacqueline Canady (Hubert) of Indianapolis; Anthony Davidson (Michelle) of Indianapolis; Wanda Adams of Indianapolis; Jerome Davidson (Felicia) of Indianapolis; Curtis Davidson of Indianapolis and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren,  relatives and friends.

I was so sorry to hear about Loretta’s passing. I am wishing the family peace, comfort, strength and the Grace of God to see you through this difficult time. Keep in mind that she is now resting safely in the arms of God. Keep the faith and again my sympathy to the family.
