Jeremy (Bear) Johnathon McGee 48, out of Indianapolis Indiana, formerly of Benton Harbor, Michigan, departed this life October 15, 2020  at home in Indianapolis Indiana, after a short illness.

Jeremy’s life began November 26, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. The son of Betty J. Beck and James McGee, he was the first child of two children, which he loved being a big brother to his sister Jennifer McGee. They both were the love of their parent’s life. He graduated in 1989 from Coloma High School in Coloma Michigan.

In 1990 Jeremy became a father to his son, Jeremy Javelle McGee, whom he loved so very much. ( Jeremy started his career with a CDL License as a Truck Driver at Pepsi Co. in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and in 1999 he  transferred to the Pepsi Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked at multiple truck driving companies in Indianapolis,  Indiana before starting at Pitt Ohio where he worked for 13 years up until his death. He loved working for this company and had a great relationship with his supervisor Shawn and the Pitt Ohio family.

In 2005 Jeremy married the love of his life Trenna Robinson-McGee and together they united a blended family of love.

Jeremy was such a patient, loving, and fun person to be around, he loved to entertain and had an awesome heart of hospitality. Whenever you came to his home you knew he would feed you and show you a good time. He loved his family, friends, music, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his HD ELITE BROTHERHOOD. Jeremy gave his life to Christ on September 7, 2020 and never looked back.

Jeremy leaves to cherish his memory a son, Jeremy McGee of Indianapolis, Indiana; two daughters, Britney (Edrei) Mpanduki of Arizona and Shanee’ (Andre) Brown of Indianapolis;  five grandchildren, Sofiana J. McGee, Tynell and  Talaya Tyler, Andre Brown Jr., and Rondell Johnson all of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Jennifer McGee; two nephews Jamari McGee and Jordan McGee all of Charlotte, North Carolina; one brother/cousin, Marcus (Hollywood) Gungler of Benton Harbor, Michigan; one uncle, Stanley Allen of  Stevensville, Michigan; three aunts, Edna Stewart of Slidell, Louisiana, JoAnne McGee and Linda McGee both of Chicago, Illinois.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his parents, Betty J. Beck and James McGee; grandparents, Bertha Ann and Funjay Allen, and John and Flora McGee; great grandparents, Rev. Leroy and Cora Thomas; aunts, Cora Mae Butler and Lillie      Newton, and uncles, Larry Allen and Julius McGee.

My deepest sympathy to trenna and family. Bear was and always be 89strong. Weeping will endure for a moment.
