VINCENT ANTHONY WATKINS was born June 13,1964 in   Brownsville, Tennessee to parents James Estes and Ethel Jo (Watkins) McFarland.

ANTHONY accepted Christ into his life at a young age and was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church. Later he and his family joined Southern Missionary Baptist Church.

ANTHONY  received his early education in the Indianapolis Public School System at School #27 and School #91. He attended Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee and received his GED from Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. After school he worked at Auntie Mame's Child Care and as an adult, he worked at Burns International Security Services. In addition, he worked various self-employed jobs and worked as a cook at local restaurants.

“JUICE” as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, enjoyed fishing, basketball, cooking, and spending time with his family.

VINCENT ANTHONY WATKINS departed this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; son, Preston DeWayne Watkins; stepfather, Carl McFarland, and stepbrother, Albert “Buddy” Pettigrew.

ANTHONY leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ethel Jo (Watkins) McFarland; wife, Tonya Robey-Watkins; sons, Courtney Murphy, Anthony Akers, Vincenté Akers, William Brown, siblings: Alvin Wayne Pettigrew, Sheila K. Destina, and Jasmine “Jazz” (Hope) Munn; stepfather, Alvin Pettigrew; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives.

He brought out the good and happy in anyone around him. The world is a little less bright without juices smiling face. I’m going to miss you so much, it still just doesn’t seem real to me. Fly high juice!
