Dearest Burks Family. We send our deepest condolences for the loss of Pearson Burks. Words can not begin to express the sorrow of what he meant to your family and closest friends. May your souls seek the comfort and peace of mind that God is waiting to provide. Please remember you are not walking this path alone. Christ is your leaning post and we are here with you as well. Denise and I are thinking of your family at this time and season. God is our refuge and strength and very present help in times of sorrow. Psalm 46:1

Love Hank & Denise. He heals the broken hearts and binds up our wounds.
Psalm 147:3

To the Burks family I send my thoughts and prayers to all of you! Pearson was my 1st Supervisor when I went into Delivery at UPS! I was really nervous that first day and he helped me get through all the training because he knew how to work with people! He always greeted you with a smile and asked how you were doing! That is what and how I will always remember him! He knew what needed to be done to do the job and he would do whatever he could to help you! I was just thinking of him the other day as I drove up by 96th and Ford road! I thought someone told me he had moved in that area!
May He Rest In Peace! 🙏

Burks family,
I worked with Pearson at UPS. We met during my probation period, As loss prevention manager he rode with me to make sure I was leaving my deliveries in a safe location (ha ha) Later he was my center manager. The thing I remember about Pearson is he always treated myself and fellow drivers fairly & respectfully . . . and we could always count on him to have our backs. He was a good boss and I am a better person for having known him.
I am sorry for your loss and pray that God will give you peace at this time.

I have been retired from UPS for over 20 years and Pearson is a man that you could never forget, I’ll always be thankful that I worked for him. One of the really good guys at UPS, he always treated you the way I think he wanted to be treated. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I just wanted his family to know what a special person he was. His laugh is something you could never forget.
