Kenneth (Kenny) Leroy Watson, III was born on January 28, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Kenny is preceded in death by both of his Parents, Delores C. Jones and Kenneth L. Watson, Jr. Also, his Sister, Lynne D. French, Brother Anthony Jones, and Best Friend Tony Skelton.

Kenny’s life was a lesson in loving dedication. Through victories and trials, his love for us never faltered.  He believed in trying and trying again. By example, we learn to rededicate ourselves to the constant  unfailing love of God. He knew that it was never too late; he rededicated his life to the Lord, was baptized and welcomed home to God’s loving arms.

Kenny attended Arlington High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon graduation, he moved to Cincinnati, OH to work at DOW Chemical Company.  He later became manager of Kadet’s Restaurant. There he was able to showcase his love of cooking. Kenny found joy, over the last few years, working at Wright Tree Service as a Line Clearance Grounds man.

Kenny’s charming personality, his smile decorated by an ever-present toothpick, and his infectious laugh was the highlight you always felt when he was present.  Being around him, you felt his true passion for people. He had the biggest heart.

Kenny’s greatest source of pride and accomplishment was his daughter, Cherelle. Their bond was extraordinary. He began each day by connecting with his daughter and his grandchildren. His love and dedication to his family was steadfast and consistent. He never missed a beat!

Kenny’s Kitchen was his at home opportunity to demonstrate his culinary skills.  Anyone fortunate enough to partake, “tasted” all the love and pride folded into every meal.

Kenny was such a loving, caring and outgoing person who lived and loved life.  His smile and energetic presence always let you know that there would never be a dull moment.  He had a true love for music, family and friends.  There are so many of us who have dear and fond memories of Kenny that we hope that you will forever cherish.

Kenny transitioned and returned to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 28, 2020. He leaves those to cherish his memory: Stepmother| Georgella Watson; Daughter|Cherelle Watson (Antawan); God-Daughter| Shanea McGhee; Sisters| Denise Driver (Brian), Terri Grigley (Elvis); Karen  Currin, Charlene Thomas, Sharon Cager Jones and Brenda Crayton; Brothers|Troy Watson (Theresa), Rickey Watson (Sharon), Shune Currin, Nathaniel and Steve Jones, Grandchildren| Naasir, Sameeha, Ziya, Zakir and Yasira Brown; and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
