Joanne Francis Harper Roache was born on December 26, 1937 in  Indianapolis, Indiana.

Joanne accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a  member of New Bethel Church. She later moved her membership to Light of the World Christian Church where she served as a Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, and assisted with the Junior Choir, known as the Tribe of Benjamin.

Joanne completed her primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System. She graduated from Shortridge High School with the class of 1953. She then went on to attend Central Business College and became a Paralegal.  Joanne was also employed by the United States Postal Service where she retired from after thirty years of dedicated service, working 12 hours shifts each day on the 3rd shift.

Joanne enjoyed all six of her girls and her grandchildren always brightened her day. She loved to cook for any occasion, and was known to keep a clean house. “Miss Randall”, as she was affectionately called in the neighborhood, was the “Neighborhood Mother”. She also enjoyed listening to her good gospel music. Everyone knew that to you must bring a log and a 2 liter Pepsi with you when came to visit “Miss Randall” or her girls.

Joanne married Julian Roache on April 30, 2007.  They shared ten years of love and happiness until his passing in 2017.

Joanne  departed this earthly life on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11:55 p.m. surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren at the age of eight-two years old. Her husband, Julian preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, six daughters, Loretta Jackson (Herman), Ronda Randall, Wonda Burrell, Jackie Ball, Gina Watson, and Anita Jo Woodson (Earl), three sisters, Marilyn Jones, Harriett Richardson (Robert), and Debbie Neal; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would intervene to solve all mankind’s problems even sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3,4 & Daniel 2:44).
