Anthony Dalton, affectionately known as "Tony", was born on March 31, 1948 in Stoneville, North Carolina to Odell and Jennie Dalton.

Tony attended Stoneville High School and upon graduation he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country in the Viet Nam War.

Upon arriving home to the States, in 1966 Tony moved to Indianapolis and became employed as an assembly line worker at Link Belt, the company that he would retire from after over twenty years of hard work.

Those he left behind will miss his infectious humor, quick wit, his love for fishing and family, as well as his impeccable style of dress.

He departed this earthly life on Monday, July 6, 2020 at the age of seventy-two years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennie; father, Odell; sister Elaine; nieces, Rachel and Debbie;  nephew, Ray Anthony; son,      Rolly Anthony; and great-niece, Odella.

Tony leaves behind his loving wife, Pennie;  six children: Antoinette LeJune Dalton, Jolie Danielle Dalton, Sarah Asher, Jenny Harlan, Anthony Odell Dallton II,  and Samantha Briane Redd; seven grandchildren, Toni Renee Stewart, Madison Elaine Stewart, Schuyler Anthony Stewart, Bryanna Denise Stewart, Lillian James, AnnaBelle Harlan, and Jayce Alexander Redd; eight great-grandchildren, Tori Renee Stewart, Jamel Anthony Bullock, Taylor Anthony Stewart, Melanie Elaine Stewart, Myah Star Paulk, Elliott Wayne Stewart, Ariyah Star Paulk, and  Jakobi Robinson; a great nephew Marcelle Millner, and a host of cousins and friends.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
