Emmanuelle Stanley Dillon was born February 25, 1952 in Rowletts, Kentucky to Samuel Dillon, Jr. and Vera Ford Dillon. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1960.
Emmanuelle attended School #4 and Woods High School. He worked at Lockfield Gardens in the Maintenance Department, and the Goodwill Warehouse.
Emmanuelle accepted Christ forty years ago. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, and he loved to sing, gathering with the church brothers, participated in Sunday School, sang in the Male Choir and was on the Usher Board.
Emmanuelle Stanley Dillon passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the age of sixty-eight years, three months, and seven days. He was preceded in death by his sister Loretta Dillon and his brother, Ronnie Dillon.
Emmanuelle is survived by his sons, Anthony (Lisa) Dillon and Antonio (Creshenda) Dillon; grandchildren, Donzell M. Dillon, Anthony Dillon, Jr., Antonio Dillon, Jr., and Ce’onna Marie Dillon; great-grandson, Maky Dillon; mother, Vera Ford Dillon, siblings, Ima J. Martin, William K. Dillon and Melvin (Debbi) Dillon, and a host of other relatives, extended family and friends.
