Mrs. Maggie Lee (Wilson) White affectionately known as “Muh”, was born on September 15, 1938 to the late and Rosie Lee Williams in Tunica, Mississippi. She completed her primary and secondary education in                  Tunica, Mississippi. 

She was married to the late Willie White in 1958. Maggie  relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in the Mid 1960’s. She was employed at St. Vincent for 39 years until she retired.

She was a Member of a bowling league. She enjoyed sports, typically all of them. She shared and inspired her love of sports to her children. She was a woman of a few words, but when she spoke your ears were inclined to listen. She was a strong individual.

Maggie  loved all children. Even after having many of her own children, she welcomed and raised her siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren and others.

Maggie  accepted Christ at an early age. She has been a member of Loving Missionary Baptist Church since 1970. She formerly sang in the choir and was a member of the Mother’s Board.

Maggie departed this life on Monday, May 11,2020 at the age of 81 years old. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Erick White, her brother, Joe Lee Riley, her granddaughter, Katina White, and two her great grandchildren, Demonte Norton and Katrina White.

She leaves to cherish her memories; six daughters Sylvia White, Rochelle White, Blanchie (Richard) Johnson, Loria White, Porcha (Darrell) Patton, Latasha (Michael) White-Abron; Four Sisters Ruby (Jones) Westbrook & William Jones of Cleveland, OH; Rochelle Williams & Kimberly Williams; Six brothers, William Jones, Sampson Jones, Wesley Jones, David Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; James Booker of Chicago, IL and Joshua Williams of Atlanta, GA; twenty four grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren, nine great-great grand children and a host of other family and friends.
