Maggie Mae Bradley was born on July 15, 1934,  in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was the daughter of Moses Bradley and  Dovie Morris Foster. 

Maggie  received her primary and secondary education  in the Indianapolis Public School System.  She attended School #17 and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1954.

Maggie  was reared in a large, loving Christian family, and at a young age she professed her belief in Christ.  She became a member of  Metropolitan Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. William F. Sweatt.    In later years, she joined the Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of her brother, Rev. Herbert Easley.  She remained active and faithful in her participation and attendance.

Maggie embarked upon her working career after completing her education at Keiffer –Stewart Corporation.  In later years, after raising her own children, she re-entered the workforce as a Nurses Aid,  She was employed at Three Sisters and Indianapolis Retirement nursing homes.

An avid reader, Maggie read her Bible daily and on Sunday, she enjoyed reading The Indianapolis Star.  She liked playing Bingo and penny games with her friends and step-sister, Catherine.  

Maggie Mae Bradley departed this earthly life on March 8, 2020, at the age of eighty-five years seven months and twenty-four days.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Ella Louise Scott, Corine Griffin, Alonzo Easley, Rev. Herbert Australia Easley, Delma Edmondson and Thelma Turner.  

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Vanessa Tolbert; son, Elder Tony Burrell; grandsons, Terrell Tucker and Christopher Walker; great-grandchildren, Leayla, Xavier, Marc, Jazmyn and Jordyn; step-sister, Catherine Thomas, three generations of nieces and nephews, other relatives, her beloved Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church family and a host of friends.
