Ronnie Lee Batts, Jr. was born March 25, 1981, in Indianapolois,  Indiana.  He was the son of Ronie Lee Batts, Sr. and Michelle Helene Webster.

At an early age, Ronnie gave his life to Christ and joined the Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Ronnie attended Indianapolis Public School #46 and Northwest High School before receiving his G.E.D. (General Equivalency Diploma). Ronnie was skilled in many areas and went on to hold various jobs throughout the years.

Ronnie loved music, dancing, and singing. He loved to watch sports and would be hollering at the TV when mistakes were made. Ronnie also loved his family. He had a special bond with his granny, even though he would sass her and leave her kitchen a mess when he came to visit. He loved sitting on her front porch at 2930 Highland Place watching everything that was happening on the block. He is now resting in peacefully in her loving arms and we know she will take care of him.

Ronnie Lee Batts, Jr. departed this life on October 23, 2019, at the age of 38 years. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Lee Webster, Jr. and Raymond Batts, Jr.; grandmothers, Missouri Lee Clark and Edna Collins; his uncles, Anthony Batts and Oliver Morton; and aunts, Dorothy Mae Taylor and Mary Morton.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Michelle Webster Thomas (Paul); his father, Ronnie Lee Batts, Sr.; his sisters, Tasha Batts Davis (James), DaRonda Batts, Tynisha Batts, Imunique Evans, and Shaun Thomas Irving (Randy);brother, Royal Thomas; his grandmother, Hazel Ann Hurt, and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, many cousins, and friends.
