She soon found her way to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she married Alonzo Lee Daniels.  They became members of Witherspoon Presbyterian Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Landrum E. Shields.  Their union produced two daughters, Kelly M. Daniels and Kim L. Daniels.

Hannah Daniels was loved and respected by all.  As a self-proclaimed Domestic Engineer, her primary focus was taking care of her home and family. Her work outside of home consisted of the U. S. Army Finance and Accounting Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison, William T. Ray Realty Company and as a volunteer at Witherspoon Church.

Her hobbies included modeling, where she was among the first   African American models for L. S. Ayres & Company in their Tea Room.  She also modeled for Elan Furs, the U. S. Army uniform catalog and was an accomplished pianist.
