Stacy Kelley Perkins was born March 26, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stacy was the thirteenth child of the late James and Clara Lee Perkins.

Stacy professed a Hope in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Second Christian Church, currently known as Light of the World Christian Church.

Stacy was educated by the Indianapolis Public School System.  He attended School #66, Kennedy Junior High School, Shortridge High School and graduated from Arlington High School in 1980.

Stacy began his adult employment with Farm Bureau Insurance Company with ten years of service, as a Claims Auditor. After Farm Bureau, Stacy was a dedicated employee for Wonder Bread as a forklift driver.  Stacy then followed in the footsteps of his father, James, by working with The Chrysler  Corporation  for over ten years which allowed him to travel and live in California for over two years until his early retirement in 2009.

Stacy enjoyed traveling to as many places across the country with his life partner, Linda Moore, who proceeded him to Glory.

On Monday, August 5, 2019, Stacy departed from this earthly life to eternal life.  Stacy was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Kasia M., and siblings,  Ronald, Barbara, Rosemary and Larry.

Stacy found enjoyment in cooking, dancing, playing cards, watching ball games, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. You would very seldom see Stacy without children who he held close to his heart.

Stacy had a way of lighting up any room with his presence and his “Dapper” sense of fashion. Stacy was a joy to be around and will truly be missed by ALL who loved him.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his children: Kellie Chanel, Stacey Hammad, Gabrielle Venus, Brandi Nicole; grandsons Brian and Kiro; Siblings Don (Josephine), Patricia (Cleo) Pate, Gerald (Elaine), Sharon Nelson, Brenda JoAnn, Jacqueline Alexander, Darryl (Debra), Donna Perkins; a host of nieces, nephews and three cousins, Rosie Ryle, Patricia Jackson and Ruthanne Jones.
