Chico Ramano Adams Sr. was born December 8,1959 to Itsuko Adams and John Adams Sr. in Indianapolis, Indiana.


Chico received his primary education in the Indianapolis Public School System.  He went on to complete his secondary education at Arlington High School.   


Chico  accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church.


Chico  was employed with Gutter Flo Inc.,Wishard Memorial  Hospital and furthered his employment through Goodwill  Industries by working for the Salvation Army Women and Children’s Homeless Shelter until his passing.


Chico  was a loving and outgoing person who would do anything for you if he could. He was a person who wouldn’t bite his tongue. He loved to BBQ and be around his family and friends. Chico was a big fan of football and basketball. He was a huge fan of the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Lakers, and most recently, the Golden State Warriors. He was always supportive of his children and grandchildren when it came to school and sports.


Chico departed this life on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the age of fifty-nine years, six months, and twenty-seven days. He was preceded in death by his father, John Adams Sr.; his wife of over twenty years, Pamela Jean Hooten; two nieces, Tomiko Adams-Workman and Jakobi Adams; and granddaughter, ZaKayhia Adams.


He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Itsuko Adams; his women of nine years, Yvette Davis; sons, Ivory Bryant (Ericka) and Chico Adams Jr. (Amanda); daughters, Miko Adams, LaDonna Adams, and Kiosha Adams (Dennis); sisters, Betty Adams, Denise Adams, and Kim Williams; brother, John Adams Jr; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
