Stephanie Elaine Williams Thomas, the youngest of four children, was born June 15, 1960 to the late Edgar Roscoe Williams and Gloria Jean Trice in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stephanie attended Indianapolis Public Schools and Ivy Tech Community College for Nursing. She also received her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration.

Stephanie moved to Chicago, Illinois in the late seventies with her only child Anthony. Where she resided for ten years before moving back to Indianapolis, Indiana.

On Saturday, September 16, 2006, Stephanie and William Henry Thomas were united in Holy Matrimony. They enjoyed life together as one. She was truly loved by her husband, family, co-workers, and patients.

Stephanie loved to shop, camp, horseback riding, cook, spend time with her family and she loved her cats. Since her return to Indianapolis, she worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years. She was known for her loving spirit, sense of humor, sharp wit, and her commitment to help others in need.

Stephanie departed the earthly life on Saturday, April 6, 2019, the age of fifty eight years, ten months and nine days. She was preceded in departure by her father Edgar and her two elder brothers Tony Williams and Eddie Williams.

Stephanie was a devoted family woman who will be truly missed by her loved ones: husband, William Thomas; son, Anthony D. Williams; step daughter, Emily; mother, Gloria J. Trice; sister, Erica Brown;​ sister, Karen Williams; sister, Sylvia Grundy​; granddaughter, Patricia Duncan and three great grandchildren.

To the family: Sorry to hear about the death of your loved one. I'm sure Stephanie will be missed by everyone who knew her. I also have lost dear loved ones; but it is good to know that the Bible assures us a hope for the dead.
