Wendell Ware, was born June 2, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He  attended Indianapolis public schools and graduated from Manual High School in 1972. Wendell received a football scholarship to Western Kentucky University, where he was considered a standout defensive tackle before suffering a knee injury that ended his career. Wendell was an outstanding artist, and draftsman, which led to his    teaching Industrial Arts at Northwest High School in Indianapolis and eventually in the Michigan High School system.  Later in his teaching career Wendell returned to his academic degree in mechanical engineering, working over 10 years for Ambassador Airlines of Indianapolis, where he  redesigned drafts of mechanical operations for their airplanes.  Wendell was extremely skilled in this area, as his work was sought out and highly respected.
