Dear family of Dorothy Burse. The death of a loved one is a very difficult time. Very heartbreaking as well. The Bible gives us hope for the future were sickness and death will be no more Revelation 21:4. My condolences go to your family.

Dorothy Lee aka Diane's Bad Aunt

You've done well young lady! So many accomplishments! So much that you have invested in the community! Such a lasting legacy!

I have been, and will always be, proud to be your niece. You have shown me by your many examples how to let your presence be known. You also showed me how to give the "look" to get my point across, AND MEAN IT, without uttering a single word.

I am going to miss jaw-jacking with you and showing you my new tattoos. Driving by and seeing if you were throwing any wild parties. Laying in the middle of the floor talking about who is the baddest between us... though I still think it's you, since you came first, but we both know it's Daryl. :)

Shine on Aunt Dorothy

Love Diane's Bad Child

Having work for Dorothy for a few years I was sorry to hear of her passing. She was a great person to work for. Rest in peace our thoughts and prayers are with the Burse family. Dave and Teri Weir.

Dear loved ones of Dorothy Burse, You are legion, I’m sure, because she loved many and it was impossible to not love her in return. In her days at Citizens, we were roommates at CAAP conferences, strategists against injustice, watchdogs of funding, and advocates for the voiceless. Her friendship was a gift, her companionship an education and her departure is heaven’s gain. Thank you for sharing her, keeping the home fires burning and putting to work all she gave with us with grace, good humor & wisdom❤️
