Mr. Joseph Alphonso Fox also known as Joe Fox, Dad and Uncle Joe by family and many friends was born to William Henry and Anna M. Burton Fox on December 7, 1953, the seventh child of eleven in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Joe received his primary and secondary education in the public school system graduating from Arsenal Technical High School in 1971. 

At an early age in his life Joe professed a hope in Christ and was baptized in the Catholic Faith.  Joe worked at Target Distribution Center for thirty years and also served in the United States for ten years. 

In his leisure time Joe enjoyed fishing, sports, golfing, old Westerns, going to the Casino and Las Vegas, and being around his grandkids, great grandkids and family.  

Mr. Joe Alphonso Fox departed this earthly life on Sunday morning, October 5, 2014 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.  Joe was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory sons, Vivan Davis and Ramon J. Fox; one daughter his caregiver and princess of his heart Stephanie S. Fox; brothers, Francis L. Fox (Angie) and David E. Fox; sister, Bonita J. Fox Massey; ten grandchildren “to whom he’s affectionately known as Pa-Pa” along with seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, two aunts, many friends, and special caregiver Ramona Fox.
