Dearest Paula, Dione, husband Charles and family, Dana and Dawn

We will never forget the hugs and laughter Ed gave us. We loved hime so much!

I have known him since before they were married as dear Paula and I are best
of friends since Methodist Nursing School. Ed was also in our wedding in 1966
i was in theirs in 1965. Friendships run deep and forever.

Our visits each year and times we have spent together with our children are dear to our hears. Ed said that he would plan our trip this year but he is
in heaven smiling down on us all. We will keep our light on for you, dear Ed,
tonight in remberance.

Ed and I had many rewarding conversations in the media room before Pacer games in past years. I was the NBA security representative. Ed talked about his love of baseball. We both talked and agreed about political and other matters. He had a great insight on everyday things in general. I always looked forward to our discussions. He certainly was a very fine man and I've lost another good friend.

I regret not being able to attend his service as my wife and I are attending a family get-together in northern Kentucky this weekend.

Dear Whitehead family,

I had the pleasure of working with Ed at the Indiana National Bank at 21st and Meridian back in 1976-1977. He was a joy to work with. He would always make you smile and laugh every day! :) So sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers.

I learned today of the passing of Ed. I was very saddened on hearing the news. I have worked with Ed through the Pacers for many years at MSA and Bankers Life Fieldhouse. He was always a gentleman and very, very, kind. I am so "Thankful" for his kindness and I will truly miss him.

Paula, Dana and the rest of the Whitehead family, you are in my heart and prayers.

Love,
Michele

Whitehead Family,

I was sad to see in the newspaper today that Ed has left this earth. He was my softball coach many, many moons ago. I always thought he was the kindest gentleman. I had so much respect for him as a person and he influenced me in such a positive way. I am lucky to have known him.

In Deepest Sympathy,

Lori (Cummings) Cain

Ed and I worked together and Indiana National Bank from '69 to '74. Although I haven't seen in for 35 years, he remains one of the people who's path I crossed and who's impression became indelible on my spirit. I respected Ed for his way with people, he influenced my management style a great deal and he was just one of the nicest people I've met during my life. I regret not taking the time to see Ed more often. Please accept our deepest sympathy and please know Ed will always be remembered fondly by Helen and me. Chuck and Helen
