Mr. Billy Howard Weathers, the son of the late Fermon Weathers, Sr. and Murlee Richmond Weathers was born on June 15, 1940, in Leake County, Mississippi. 
Billy accepted Christ at an early age at True Light Missionary Baptist Church. 
Billy attended Murphy High School.  Billy joined King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church and later joined True Vine Missionary Baptist Church until his health began to fail. 
Billy relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1959 and was employed by General Motors where he worked for thirty-six years. 
Billy enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, traveling and spending quality time with his family and friends and using his favorite phrase (H.N.I.C.). 
       Billy was a member of the Elk’s Lodge #709 I.B.P.O.E. of W.
Billy Howard Weathers and Barbara Jean Gowdy was united in Holy Matrimony on July 4th 1975 and to this union a son was born whom preceded him in death. 
Billy was a friend to everyone in need, and filled their hearts with joy.  His affection for others will always be remembered.
Billy Howard Weathers departed this life on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the age of seventy-three years, one month and twenty-seven day.  He was preceded n death by his son, Curtis Lavelle Weathers; two brothers, Johnny and Fermon Weathers, Jr. 
Billy leaves to cherish his loving memories:  His loving caring and very devoted wife, Barbara J. Weathers of Indianapolis, Indiana; one daughter, Sabrina L. (John) Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, two sons, Frederick (Apryl) Weathers and Billy A. (Tamika) Weathers of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Lamara (Thelma) Weathers of Walnut Grove, Mississippi; three sisters, Addie L. Hudson, Bonnie Summers and Alma J. McBeath of Walnut Grove, Mississippi; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Weathers of Chicago, Illinois; a special devoted and caring grandson, Tyrone C. Weathers of Indianapolis, Indiana; seventeen grandchildren,; four step-grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren, devoted relatives, Robert Ellis and Mary Stennis, Jeffie Lewis and Juanita Lewis all of Indianapolis, Indiana; special and devoted friends, Wanda Lane and Wanda Whitey of Indianapolis, Indiana; loving and caring special neighbors, Mr. Cloice and Betty Doston of Indianapolis, Indiana and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
