Mrs. Elva Reyna Hall Jackson, the youngest daughter of Arthur and Darest Hall, came into this World feet first on June 13, 1958, ready to run her race.
Reyna attended Indianapolis public schools and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1976.   Reyna loved helping others. What a joy it brought to her life to bring joy to others.
Bound to help and serve, she enlisted in the United States Army, where she served her country well.  After her time in military service, her kind and gentle spirit wanted to continuing helping others and she  entered into the health care field.  She would eventually care for her mother and father in their final days.
If you could use words to describe Reyna among the many list would be, “helpful”, “loving”, “nurturing”, “strong” and “oh, so very real”.  Her laughter and smile could feel the room and shed peace, where there was pain.  When it came to cradling a baby, she took care of everyone’s child, family or not.  She showed lasting energy to her family even when she was not physically able to keep up, or cook one of her famous meals that she was known for like salmon croquettes and rice.  A virtuous woman of God, family-oriented, beautiful and the heart and soul of her family, nothing she wouldn’t give for them.
In 1982, Reyna met the true love of her life when she gave birth to her only child, Tammie Lynette Hall.  Reyna lived and breathed for her daughter, “her girl”, as she often referred.  She was truly her most proud and crowning achievement.
To know Reyna, you would have to know her personal relationship with Christ as her Lord and Savior was real.  Having accepted Christ at an early age, she would serve Him well ‘till her final hours as a faithful member of New Life Worship Center.
The trumpets sounded on Reyna’s earthly journey on June 9, 2013, when God said, “You won your race”. She leaves to cherish and uphold her Legacy her only child, Tammie Lynette Hall; stepson, Antonio Phillips (Angela); aunt, Josephine Liggins; brothers, Lecester L. Jackson (beloved and devoted sister-in-law and friend, Judith) and Michael Hall (Donna); sisters, Andrea Tarvin and her big sister, Delores “Katt” Ryan (Peter); nephews, Anthony Brents, Shawn Hall and Joshua Hall; nieces, Valerie Reyna Miller (Bill), Amber M. Brents, Noelle D. Jackson and Princess Brinkley-Hall; great nephews, Jarek Brents and L.B. Miller; great nieces, Janiah E. Driver (knock-a-knock), Bailee Reyna and her Autumn; two best friends, Robin Barnett and Wilson “Jag” McDowell, and a host of other family and friends.

Michael & Shawn so sorry to hear about the homegoing of your love one. May God bless and keep you during these difficult times.
I said a Prayer for you today,
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart,
Although He spoke no word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame,
I knew you wouldn't mind.
I asked him to send treasures
of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that he'd be near you
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was his loving care
I prayed for most of all.

Tammie and family, I’m so sorry and send my deepest condolences in your behalf. I'm sure that words cannot even express or explain the hurt that you’re experiencing right now. God knows every tear you cry and he feels your pain. Jesus promised that the time would come when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28) Please know that you are in my prayers. May Jehovah comfort your family at this time with his beautiful promise of seeing her again.

Sister Little....it's me, Sister Big. I miss you so much. I promise I'll look after Tammie, she is NOT alone. You spent your whole life watching over her like a mother hen, and yet you had time to "mother" every single child that has been born into our family. You were the best Auntie NaNa God could have blessed this family with, and I will do everything in my power to make sure nothing causes Tammie hurt or harm....God has her in His mighty care, and you already know that. But know this.....I got this. You rest, and enjoy Heaven....your life, your examples, your walk in Christ was real....nothing fake about you. I love you...I love you....I love you........
