Kevin Dwight Elliott, Sr., 50,  Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2013, Easter Sunday. Kevin was born June 1, 1962, in Indianapolis.

     He met his wife, Leslie at Hebrew National Kosher Foods where he worked as a machine operator. Following that he received his Associate degree in Electrical Engineering from ITT Technical Institute. He then worked as a Test Engineer at Magnetic Instrumentation. He later worked as a Service Technician at SBC installing and maintaining high-speed internet. 

     For the past seven years, Kevin was a stay-at-home dad caring for Christian P. (13) and Mya A. (12) where he focused on enhancing their education (especially math), and sharing his love of music.  He was an avid gardener and had a passion for cooking which he gained from his Mother, Patricia Ann Corley Elliott, who preceded him in death. His competitive spirit was enjoyed by those who knew and loved him. 

     He is survived by his wife Leslie Anderson Elliott, their son Christian and daughter Mya. Kevin Jr. (Joyce) and Marcus (Arlene) Elliott, of Indianapolis. He is also survived by his father, Simpson Elliott, Jr. Siblings Carlette (Nisey), Mark (both of Indianapolis), Kimberly and Christopher (both of Atlanta, GA), and April Johnson. Kevin also had three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

      The funeral service will be held at 12pm, Friday, April 5, 2013, at Pleasant View Lutheran Church, 801 W. 73rd St. (73rd & Hoover Rd). A private burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made toward a fund which will be set up for Christian and Mya's education.
