Ms. Odessa Marie Clay Little was born August 16, 1945 in Yazoo City, Mississippi the daughter of Rev. Alton R. Clay and Lucy Hall Clay. 
Odessa completed her education in the Indianapolis Public School, graduating from Crispus Attucks High School. 
Odessa Little, professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age, with her father Rev. Alton R. Clay being a pastor at First Baptist Church. 
Odessa worked several years at Eagle Creek Nursing home, but her main profession was a housewife and mother. 
Odessa enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling, and she loved collecting dolls and teddy bears.  Odessa favorite movies were Imitation of Life, The Bodyguard (any movie with Whitney Houston) and Texas Ranger.  Her favorite movie was Brad Pitts (whose eyes just hit the ceiling, well that was her guy). 
Odessa loved her family with all her heart.  Odessa was always willing to help, not just her own family, but anybody that needed help and she always had a smile for everyone. 
Odessa heart belonged to her grandchildren’s, running around, playing with dolls, teaching them how to fight with safety pins, Oh how she loved on her grandchildren. 
Odessa Marie Little left us on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the tender age of sixty-seven years, five months and twelve days.  Odessa was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, one sister and two children, Gayle and Sam. 
Odessa leaves to cherish her wonderful memory, two sisters, Pinkie Proctor, Sally Piper of Burlington, VT; sons, Harry Taylor of Los Angeles, California, Rodney Taylor of Long Beach, California, Frank Little and Chad Little (Cherrie); daughters, Daphney Taylor Brooks (Michael) Lucy Taylor Scott and Yolanda Taylor; twenty grandchildren, seven great grandchildren a special friend, Dewayne Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.
