i would like to share words of comfort to you at this time from gods words the bible .this is the story of a women who had lost her only son. jesus had just left another city and came upon the the funeral procession of a young man. on seeing her extreme grief, jesus was moved with pity.so he said "young man, i say to you , "Get Up" and the man sat up and jesus gave him to his mother --luke 7:11-17....this is the hope we have ...it is called the resurrection meaning "a standing up again". yes god has promise to bring your love one Darnell back to life again .....jesus said this at john 5;28 29
may this story bring you some comfort at this time and maybe one day i could speak to you more on this blessing

A note of comfort for the loss of your dear loved one. God can comfort us in such a distressing time. We are told at Psalms 145:18, 19 "The eyes of God are toward the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their cry for help".

My condolences to the family. I didn't know Djay personally but i watched many of his games and a few of his training's, always wanting to meet him but never having the guts too... i regret it now. He was a great player and very talented. He inspired me and i'm sure many others too. He still rests among us, just wanted to let the family know that Djay was our hero and was loved by all his fans and still is. Once again, i'm sorry for your loss.

As a friend of DJs I was shocked and saddened to hear about DJ.I was told prior to a basketball game on the same court that I met him and the same court in which we did a Christmas basketball camp for kids in Las Vegas NV..Some of the same kids were getting ready to play in a game in March of this year and one of the coaches told me.I couldn''''''''t stop thinking of him.My son Michael which looked up to DJ as well as many other kids were in awe of DJS ability on the court and his kindness and his humble personality always on and off the court.
DJ said he was trying to get back over seas and I suggested we do a camp to raise some money.DJ was the highlight of the camp and was easy to work with and reached out to all the kids and fellow coaches. It was a success and he was on his way.I heard he did well and was looking forward to seeing him when he got back.
I am sincere when I say it breaks my heart he is gone.He will be missed.
