Mother Katherine D. Mother Katherine D. Everheart was a loving wife to James A. Everheart.  Mother Everheart was a faithful and loving mother to her five children, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  Mother Everheart loved Jesus and her family very much with her whole heart.  Her relationship with Christ was very important to her and she took that very seriously.  She honored the Lord with her life by putting the Lord first in everything she did.  Being an avid prayer warrior, going to church every Sunday, leading the lost to Christ, and regularly playing her church music at home and in the car while driving on the regular basis.

Family was always very important to her and she always gathered her family together every holiday of the year.  She had a love for cooking, was an amazing cook, and would prepare delicious meals and desserts for her family during the holidays.

She cared very much about and always checked on her family on the regular basis, be it phone calls and or in person visits.  Mother Everheart was a hard worker who worked several jobs to ensure her children were fed and didn't want for nothing.  Mother Everheart encouraged her children to pursue an education to have a better life.  She always taught her children to: love, honor, and put the Lord first in everything you do.  To always think for yourself, and that after the Lord make sure that your business is hand.

Mother Everheart was an Ambassador for Christ every single day since she had gotten saved as a young child, and she had unwavering faith in God. At McGee Temple COGIC she served faithfully under the Pastorage of Pastor Daniel McGee until she relocated to Detroit, Michigan.  After she relocated to Franklin, Indiana she served under the Pastorage of Pastor Hugh Cawthorne at House of Prayer COGIC.

She then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and was a faithful member of Bishop Temple COGIC. Where she served faithfully under the Pastorage of Elder Samuel Bishop and then following his retirement, she  was then under the Pastorage of Pastor Leon Graves until her demise.

Over the years as a  Mother of the church she had become very involved with the church and supported the church wherever she was needed.

Mother Katherine was a faithful guest and mother to several Churches of God in Christ throughout  Indianapolis, Franklin, and surrounding areas.  She was also a faithful visitor of Solid Rock Assembly Of God in Whiteland, Indiana under the Pastorage of Pastor Dan Chappelow. She believed in praising the Lord no matter where she was and did not let anyone stop her from showing her faith in the Lord.

Mother Everheart had an eye for fashion and she always loved to dress up fancy for church and other special occasions.  She loved her jacket dresses and skirt suit outfits, with matching hats, shoes, and handbags.

Mother Everheart graduated from Dunbar High School in Morganfield, Kentucky.  She then went on to further her education at Fairbanks College in Detroit, Michigan where she pursued and graduated with a degree in sewing.  She also attended and graduated from Central Nine Career Center in Greenwood, Indiana with a Certification in IBM Computers.

Throughout her professional life, Mother Everheart was employed doing the following: She was a former Employee at Johnson Memorial Hospital during her children's youth in Dietary.  She was also employed at Franklin College in Dietary.  After 25 years of service, she retired from Arvin's Automotive LLC.  She also started her own Housekeeping Business, cleaning for many personal clients.

Mother Katherine Everheart leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Katherine Clark (Steven) of Franklin, IN, Margaret Paul (Warren) of Indianapolis, IN, and Martha Jean-Claude of Franklin Indiana; two sons, John Cowling of Franklin, IN, and Clayton Cowling (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
