Jera’ departed this life on Thursday October 15th 2020. He closed his eyes, fell asleep only to wake to a peace unknown to the living. Jera’ DuShaun Boyd entered this life on May 5th, 1986 at Wishard Memorial Hospital, and was presented to Roberta Boyd and Jerome Taylor as their very own gift from God. He completed his education journey with a General Studies Diploma that he received on June 27, 2008 from the Indiana State Board of Education. An accomplishment he was very proud to achieve.

Jera’ had a sincere spirit and generous heart filled with nothing but love. He truly impowered the belief that everyone should have the same heart and spirit, and couldn’t understand those without it. He admired the thought of the traditional family. Always excited for a gathering, but strangely never around when they occurred. Prior to 2010 when Jera’ became disabled, he worked for Amazon Corporation. Jera‘ loved rapping to music and singing loudly throughout the house. Jera’ was a Documentary buff and loved watching movies about everything from Nature, to History to Religious Studies. He was a member of Eastern Star Church where he was baptized on August 5, 2012.

Jera’ departed this life on Thursday, October 15th, 2020. Leaving to cherish his memories his (mother) Roberta Boyd, (father) Jerome Taylor Children: Jeriah Madison Boyd, Banks D. Jones, Jshaun L. Jones Siblings: Latasha (James) Davie, I’Esha (Cleven) McBeath, Jeremiah Boyd. Long term girlfriend Kristian Jones. (4) nephews, (2) nieces, (3) great nephews, and a multitude of family and friends.
