Barbara Rasheed the daughter of Evelyn D. Bonds and Eugene McQueen was born May 28, 1944, she was educated by the Catholic School System.

Barbara enjoyed being with children and worked for IPS, over 20 years until retirement. After retirement she continued working with children part time at Crestview's aftercare program.

Barbara had a smile that could brighten a room. That smile lead to over 36 years of marriage and memories with her loving husband Khaleel Rasheed. Her smile matched her beautiful personality. "Momma" as she was affectionately known by family created a home full of love and warmth. She was a central figure in the lives of all of her children and grandchildren.

Barbara was a member of St. Bridges Catholic Church until its closing, and presently attended St. Andrews.  She departed this life on October 18,2020 at the age of 76.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and daughter Tehani West.

She leaves to cherish, her husband; Khaleel Rasheed; daughters, Evelyn Porter, Victoria Jones (Gerald) and Kelli Render; sons, Robert Porter and Arie Glenn Sr.; twenty-two grandchildren; seventy four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
