Willie E. Mobley, son of Odessa Leverson-Mobley and Willie Mobley, was born April 24, 1944, in Savannah, Georgia. Willie attended public schools and received a high school diploma in 1962. 

Willie E. Mobley joined his sisters, Margaret and Betty, in Chicago, Illinois.  There he professed a hope in Christ, and joined King of Glory C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of the late Pastor Shepherd Little,  

Willie E. Mobley met and married Mary Cooper.  To this union was born two daughters, Laconya, and Maria Mobley.  

Willie E. Mobley  enjoyed hearing the word of God and would often walk to church to attend Sunday evening services at Monument of Faith, pastored by the Late Richard D. Henton. He met and married Ella Harmon. Ella was the love of this life. They enjoyed traveling and cruising on the ocean with family and friends. Later, they were appointed Pastor and First Lady of New Testament of Faith Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois.

In 2000, Willie E. Mobley retired and moved to San Antonio, Texas, and joined Wheatley Heights First Baptist Church, where he and his wife served until her demise in 2009. In 2010, after having a stroke, Willie E. Mobley moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to live near his sister.

Willie E. Mobley departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mobley; his parents, Odessa Leverson-Mobley and Willie Mobley; one brother, Wilson Mobley; three sisters, Betty Baul, Wiletha Bruster,  and JoAlice Coaxum; one nephew, Keith D. Sullen, one brother-in-law, Alfred Baul, and one stepson, Kendall Harmon.

Willie E. Mobley leaves to cherish his memory to his sister,  District Missionary Margaret Sullen (James); two daughters, Laconya and Maria Mobley; one stepson, Quentin Harmon (Sheila), ten grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in addition to a host of nieces and nephews, church family and friends.
